Nuala Clifford
Nuala came to ianmcclean and partners from Esat Fusion where her experience
latterly involved the establishment of a coaching department which acted as a
conduit between the business and training department. Between times she took
time out to travel in Asia. Fortunately she came back and her very personable
nature now makes her very much in demand with our clients. A BA graduate from
UCD, Nuala is a member of the Irish Coach Institute, and has also been
accredited through the IMI Master Trainer programme. Her skills are currently
being deployed as much in early motherhood as in the workplace! With over 10
years field experience in leadership, coaching and team performance she is
truly passionate about developing people - which she also does in a voluntary
capacity - and enjoys to cook while relaxing! or relax while cooking - we can
never remember . . .

Melanie Sheridan
Before joining the team at ianmcclean and partners Melanie spent 6 years in Japan working for Kobe steel. Being in Japan at the time of the Kobe earthquake caused Melanie to reassess her own life, prompting her to head to UCD where she completed a Masters in 'Strategic Management and Planning', while making sure that she always lives in the present, spending time on the important things in life – family and friends. Melanie is our very own resident 'Truth Fairy' helping to sort the training facts from the fiction! (Did you know that 71% of all statistics are made up?!) She enjoys sharing her expertise and personal experiences with our clients.

Robert Moorhouse
After being a client of ianmcclean and partners for 10 years, Robert was so impressed with 'our purpose' and 'ways of working' that he decided the only way to spend more time with us was to join us, and we are glad he did. In 2007, Robert came to work as a senior consultant at IMC & P and now regularly calls on the skills and experience he gained as senior manager at Diageo to compliment the programs he delivers. Robert is a highly experienced and engaging facilitator who specialises in developing bespoke workshops for our clients in the areas of change management, team development and leadership. Robert has a passion for coaching, both business and personal and is a member of the Irish Coach Institute. Robert spends his weekends coaching his local rugby team in Drogheda and sailing club in Skerries! Robert also enjoys off-roading in his land rover and spending time with his family. Steve Thompson
Steve Thompson is our 'variety junky'. He came to us from a background in training entrepreneurs in creativity and business planning. He studied 'Philosophy, Design and Business' in the Smurfit School (well the business bit anyway) and has lectured in the Quinn School in University College Dublin. He has built his own house (and it's still standing) and loves to travel, way off the beaten track. He coaches ladies hockey (just for fun) and even designs illusions for large stage productions. What ties it all together is a thirst for new ideas and a desire to widen his view. Click here to email Steve. |
Dr. Angus Beck
Angus heads up our operation in Northern Ireland, having connected with the team in late 2007. Angus’ origins are in the engineering profession, and claims that his first real job (in Canada) was 'lending a hand' in the design of the robotic arm of the space shuttle – and, 25 years later, it's still working. He has come into our world after 20 years of business experience in the IT world, 10 at director level. In the 'third phase' of his career, his aspiration is to impact as many as possible with the truths of good leadership practise, mixing the theory with the experience.
Angus is also Chairman of 'Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland', and in recent years has led Habitat teams to build houses in Africa and Central America. Hang around him too long and you may find yourself on the next team! |
